Stowe Mountain Bike Academy and Ranch Camp are proud to present Stowe Fatbike Tours! We have bikes, guides, and adventures for groups of expert riders to novice adventurers, kiddos to adults, singles to full families, we have a tour for you!
- Tours are 2.5 hours in duration for 1 to 4 people per guide (Call to book for more than 12 participants)
- Rental pedal assist (eBike) fatbikes and analog fatbikes, plus helmets are available
- Guides are certified, insured, and knowledgeable, assuring the best experience possible
- All rides meet, depart, and return to Ranch Camp, Stowe's trailside fatbike base lodge
TOUR TYPES
Note: all rides and routes are conditions and weather dependent
Beginner Tour
Ride scenic and mellow terrain beginning with the groomed and gradual grade of the recreation path and ending on easy riding wooded trails. Expect to cover a few miles total dependent on group ability. No fatbike experience is required.
Intermediate Tour
Enjoy two hours of riding over rolling intermediate terrain at a moderate pace. This tour will cover 7+/- miles of terrain. Moderate fitness and some cycling experience is recommended.
Expert Tour
Ride the best of Stowe's single track! Tour includes riding at a quick clip over advanced and expert terrain. Expect up to 10 miles of riding and 1,500' feet of climbing. Moderate fitness and cycling experience is recommended.
