Weston Backwoods Fellowship Edition Splitboard
$899.00
The Best Splitboard for: Trees, Steeps + Open Bowls The Backwoods Splitboard, featuring a pow centric Directional Multi Radial Camber-Rocker profile with a wide nose and narrow tail, will float effortlessly in powder, is nimble in tight trees, is stiff enough to hold an edge through chatter and crud, and is fast enough to keep you on top all day long. To top it off, our Rugged Topsheet made from castor bean oil adds durability/snow-shedding, a top of the line Sintered Base adds unrivaled speed, and our bamboo/poplar wood core adds sustainably harvested pop and stability. It's truly a one board quiver for those that prefer trees, powder, and open bowls. For the finishing touches on this splitboard, we use active latching Karakoram Ultraclips to help create as close to a solid board feel as possible and limit chatter between sections. Additionally, we design with camber underfoot so that you'll have optimum skin traction for the uphill, and edge-hold on the downhill. A slight shift of the touring bracket forward to create a heavier tail also allows for ease of kick-turns in the skin track. As part of the Backwoods Fellowship Collaboration between Weston, Smartwool and Zeal, this board features artwork from John Fellows and Weston will be planting 10 trees for every board sold. Designed in Colorado, Manufactured at GP87 Artwork by: John Fellows
Weston Eclipse Artist Series Splitboard (Brooklyn Bell)
$899.00
The Best Splitboard for: Trees, Steeps + Open Bowls Skin Compatibility: Due to this splitboard's unique shape, we've added tail notches for skin attachment. For maximum functionality, utilize size Small Pomoca skins and our Weston Tail Clips with the Tail Clip Kit from Pomoca. You will then trim the skin to size. We're continuing to actively improve the experience here. The Eclipse splitboard, featuring a pow centric, Directional Multi Radial Camber-Rocker profile with a wide nose and half-moon narrow tail, will float effortlessly in powder, is nimble in tight trees, is stiff enough to hold an edge through chatter and crud, and is fast enough to keep you on top all day long. The board's waist width is slightly narrower than our Backwoods to accommodate smaller feet and is topped with our Rugged Topsheet made from castor bean oil to add durability/snow-shedding, a top of the line Sintered Base adds unrivaled speed, and our poplar/bamboo wood core adds sustainably harvested pop and stability. Weston Hatchet Splitboard
$949.00
The Best Splitboard for: Pillows, Trees + Freestyle Pow Skin Compatibility: Due to this splitboard's unique shape, we've added tail notches for skin attachment and is best paired with Pomoca skins and our Weston Tail Clips. The Hatchet is our versatile weapon of mass pow slaying destruction and designed to be ridden much shorter than your average snowboard. To do this, we've increased the surface area to provide you with additional float that you'll need while the reduction in length will keep you nimble. Featuring a Directional Twinish Shape, the splitboard is just ever so slightly tapered and the nose just a touch longer than the tail, but the stance is centered on the camber. The combination of those features creates a blend that allows for additional float in pow while balancing the twin features that are ideal for landing and riding switch without sacrificing too much float. On this splitboard we also use our Rugged Topsheet made from castor bean oil to add durability/snow-shedding. A Multi Radial Twin Camber profile provides maximum pop and edgehold while S Weave Carbon that weaves from base to topsheet and back to the base increases pop further. We utilize a clean black, top of the line, Electra Sintered Base for maximum speed and ease of p-tex repair. PU Sidewalls provide amplified durability/dampening over traditional UHMW sidewalls, and our trusty poplar/bamboo core provides sustainably harvested pop and stability. From popping pillow lines to spinning off cliffs, the Hatchet will keep you afloat in pow while giving you the versatility to play. Designed in Colorado, Manufactured at GP87 Artwork by: John Fellows
Weston Switchback Splitboard
$699.00
The Best Splitboard for: Open Bowls, Glades + All Mountain The Switchback is our dependable deck that is built to float in powder and maintain an edge on variable terrain, but doesn't get too fancy with things and utilizes a standard poplar wood core. Poplar strikes the workhorse balance of dampening, pop and durability but runs a little heavier than some of our other options. The Switchback features a Directional Multi Radial Camber-Rocker profile that helps it stay afloat with a little reverse camber in the nose, while maintaining camber underfoot for pop and edgehold. This board is built to help you get past those initial barriers and out into the backcountry. For the finishing touches on this splitboard, we design with camber underfoot so that you'll have optimum skin traction for the uphill, and edge-hold on the downhill. A slight shift of the touring bracket forward to create a heavier tail also allows for ease of kick-turns in the skin track. Designed in Colorado, Manufactured at GP87 Artwork by: Henry Lai
