Stan’s unveiled the Dual Action Repair for Tubeless (DART) Tool in 2019, ushering in the first repair plug designed specifically for tubeless bicycle tires, rather than a scaled-down version of what was available in the automotive and motorcycle world. Subsequent refinements made way for the tool’s rerelease as the Original DART Tool in 2025, introducing a stainless steel insertion rod accompanied by an improved DART developed through the first tool’s lifespan. By using a flexible, laser-cut material, the DART conforms to nonuniform puncture shapes caused by the jagged and sharp edges of debris and obstacles found on trails, roads, and paths. Treated with a reactive solution, the DART bonds with liquid sealant on the inside of a tubeless tire to form both a chemical and mechanical seal to permanently bond a puncture too large for tubeless sealant to repair on its own. Complete with two DARTs, the tool weighs only 15-grams and fits comfortably in any small pack pocket. Stan’s NoTubes Sealant is a thin, low-viscosity liquid that coats the tire interior and seals punctures quickly. Two ounces of Stan's in a tubeless tire can repair punctures up to 1/4" to keep you rolling. Stan's Tire Sealant is formulated to stay liquid in tires for up to seven months. Arid conditions require more frequent monitoring of sealant levels, but anti-freezing agents in our special formula allow Stan's Tire Sealant to be used in temperatures as cold as -30° F. e*thirteen engineers understand the perfect tubeless wheel system means rims, tape, tires, sealant, and valves must all play their roles perfectly. Traditional Presta tubeless valves suffer from various weaknesses, like low airflow, clogging, and the need for special tools to remove the valve core, which leaves you with a valve port too small to inject sealant. This meant most of us resorted to the risk of breaking the tire bead and pouring directly into the tire when topping up sealant, or (carefully) mounting tires the first time. No more! Gen 2 Quick Fill Valves have a unique 4-part design, with a one-of-a-kind valve core carrier, which can be conveniently removed by hand without tools and without removing the valve core. This carrier threads into an oversized valve stem, which perfectly fits our 100ml sealant bottle nozzles for mess-free sealant injection. The valve stem port (without the need to house a valve core), also has an exceptionally large inner diameter of 3.5mm, providing a cross-sectional area increase of 45% over our Gen 1 Valves, and about 10% over new "Filless" competitor valves. This means higher airflow and less chance of clogging. Securing the valve stem to the rim is a CNC alloy and rubber base nut, compatible with all major rim brands, and with tricky tire inserts such as Cushcore. Two sizes are available, fitting most rims on the market. The Air-Liner is a high-quality polymer insert that replaces a portion of the air volume in the tire. This trait, combined with the shape, provides a tunable system that enhances your ride performance. The Air-Liner sidesteps the traditional compromise of stability vs. grip and allows your tires to remain stable, grippy, and controlled, even at low pressures. The Air-Liner is designed using a round cross-section with channels on the top and bottom. The top channel provides room for the tunable air chamber that sits directly beneath the tire tread. Upon impact, the corner edges of the channel flex first. This allows the tread to remain flexible, which increases traction without sacrificing impact resistance. The bottom channel allows for easy fine-tuning of the air chamber and allows for full compatibility of all valve core styles. The round cross-section shape mimics the natural shape of the tire and supports a greater contact area within the sidewalls of the tire casing. Side-to-side tire stability is increased, yet the tread remains soft and grippy.
